The Patriots men have grown accustomed to comeback wins, and they did so yet again on Friday afternoon. In the doubles matches, the pairs of
Egor Shestakov /
Jordi Garcia Portell and
Carel Wessel /
Jonas Dixon would both fall by scores of 6-4 to allow the Savage Storm to claim the opening point of the match.

In singles however, the Patriots would respond with four straight wins to take the victory. Wessel led the charge, running away with a 6-3, 6-4 straight sets win to tie up the match.

Gonzalo Fernandez Gil shortly followed, and he dominated in a 6-4, 6-0 win as he never trailed after a 4-3 deficit in the first set.

The third win of the match for UT Tyler came in the #3 slot, as Shestakov rebounded from his doubles loss to the tune of a 6-3, 6-3 win as he trailed for just one game combined in both sets.

That left the match in the hands of
Joaquin Bianchi in the #1 slot. He fell in set number one by a score of 6-1, but rebounded in a huge way with a 6-4 win in set number two. That forced the match into a third and final set, and Bianchi would keep it rolling with another 6-4 win to claim victory for UT Tyler.

In the women's sweep of the Savage Storm, they got to work in a huge way in the doubles portion of the match as
Brooklyn Ross and
Violetta Khisamova combined for a dominant 6-1 win.

Tanvikhaa Saravanan and
Kanika Sivaraman quickly followed with a 6-4 win of their own, and the Patriots went into singles up 1-0.

That lead would double to 2-0 thanks to
Akshaya Suresh winning the #5 singles slot in a walkover.

That set up a quick 2-0 lead, and Ross would go to work to make it a 3-0 lead after a big 6-4 win in set number one. In that set, she faced a 4-1 deficit before rolling to five straight game wins. In set number two, she never trailed while on her way to a 6-2 win and the third point for UT Tyler.

That meant that the match came into the hands of
Tanvikhaa Saravanan in the #2 slot, and she responded with a quick 3-0 lead to start the match. That lead would be cut down into a 5-5 tie by her opponent, but Saravanan closed out the first set with two straight game wins.

In the second set, the Savage Storm would go up by a 3-1 score, but Saravanan caught fire with five straight game wins to claim the set and the match for the Patriots.
