TYLER, TEXAS – An impressive night from three-point range led Texas A&M International to a 72-52 victory over UT Tyler on Thursday night inside the Herrington Patriot Center.
The Dustdevils matched their season-high with 11 made three pointers and shot their best percentage as a team from three-point range (45.8 percent) to secure the win over the Patriots. UT Tyler fell behind early in the contest as Texas A&M International connected on 8-from-15 (53.3 percent) from long range in the first half to hold a 41-22 advantage at the break.

Bryce Roberts went for a fifth-straight outing of double-digit points with a team-high 13 points. Forward
Alec Zambie finished with 12 points and four rebounds.
Texas A&M International led by as many as 30 with 8:32 remaining in the ball game and held the advantage for over 39 minutes of game action. UT Tyler responded to their largest deficit of the game by going on a 12-0 run over the next three minutes to make it a 64-46 differential with 5:45 remaining.
The Patriots went 18-for-49 (36.7 percent) from the field and just 4-for-14 (28.6 percent) from beyond the three-point arc.

UT Tyler will return to their home floor on Saturday afternoon against Texas A&M-Kingsville.
