TYLER, TEXAS – UT Tyler dropped a 1-0 final to Oklahoma Christian on Saturday afternoon.

Oklahoma Christian found the back of the net in the 57^th minute on a well-placed effort just outside of the Patriot box. UT Tyler out-shot Oklahoma Christian by a 16-9 margin, placing eight of those attempts on effort, but couldn't manage the equalizer.

Junior Natalie Jones had the best chance of the afternoon for UT Tyler in the 35^th minute, putting a great touch on a breakaway attempt that was stopped on a highlighted save by the Oklahoma Christian keeper.

Senior Launa Torrez led UT Tyler with three shot on goal attempts.

UT Tyler won the shot battle in both halves, totaling six attempts in the first half and 10 in the second half.

Keeper Emily Clark made six saves on the afternoon.

The Patriots fall to 8-2-3 on the year and 3-2-3 in Lone Star Conference play.
