Oklahoma Christian found the back of the net in the 57
th minute on a well-placed effort just outside of the Patriot box. UT Tyler out-shot Oklahoma Christian by a 16-9 margin, placing eight of those attempts on effort, but couldn't manage the equalizer.

Natalie Jones had the best chance of the afternoon for UT Tyler in the 35
th minute, putting a great touch on a breakaway attempt that was stopped on a highlighted save by the Oklahoma Christian keeper.
