Last week the Patriots embarked on their longest road trip of the year, taking on Sul Ross State and Western New Mexico in a three day stretch. The Patriots put together an elite defensive effort against the Lobos, holding them to just 35% shooting and 7% from beyond the arc. In that contest, the trio of

Ella Bradley, and
Mariah Neal combined for 50 total points and six made three pointers.

Against the Mustangs, the Patriots offense ramped it up to another gear, scoring 88 points on 50% shooting from the floor and 46% from beyond the arc. Five different Patriots scored in double figures on the day, and 13 different players logged playing time as the Patriots took a 35 point win.

This week, the Patriots rank #14 and #16 in the D2CSC and WBCA Top 25 Polls, respectively. They remain locked at #14 in the D2CSC poll for the second straight week and are joined by LSC opponents Texas Woman's (#2), Lubbock Christian (#7), and Eastern New Mexico (RV). The Patriots slid up one spot in the WBCA poll this week to #16. They are joined by #2 Texas Woman's and #7 Lubbock Christian.

PATRIOTS NOTES AND TRENDS
- UT Tyler finished the 2023-24 season 27-9 overall and made their second consecutive NCAA Sweet 16. That win mark is tied for the most in the NCAA Division II era of the program.
- Last season the Patriots finished 13-2 on their home floor and are now 5-1 this season, raising their mark to 40-7 under head coach Rebecca Alvidrez inside the Herrington Patriot Center.
- In the last four seasons (including 2024-25), the Patriots are a combined 31-13 in non-conference matchups, including a 12-3 record at home in non-conference games.
- Head Coach Rebecca Alvidrez is now 89-46 all time in her four season career, and she is 80-27 in her time at UT Tyler.
- The early part of the year has shown the Patriots dominant defense again, as they rank nationally in field goal percentage defense (6th), scoring defense (3rd), scoring margin (20th), and three point percentage defense (2nd).
- On the offensive side, the Patriots have hit their stride, now ranking inside the top 50 nationally in three pointers per game (10th), assists per game (28th), and assist/turnover ratio (34th).

YELLOWJACKETS NOTES AND TRENDS
- MSU Billings heads into Thursday's matchup at 11-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play. They dropped their most recent game to #23 Cal Poly Pomona on Tuesday evening.
- As a team, the Yellowjackets are averaging 68.8 points per game on 41% shooting and 34% from beyond the arc. Their opponents are scoring 55.2 points per game on 37% shooting and 28% from beyond the arc.
- They are led on offense by Dyauni Boyce, who is scoring 14 points per game on 38% shooting. She is the team's leading rebounder at 5.8 per game, leading blocker at 12 total, and is second in assists.
- The Yellowjackets are led by head coach Kevin Woodin in his 21st season with the program. He holds a career record of 357-230 with the team and he has led the program to the postseason in 14 of the last 18 seasons.

- Embry-Riddle is scoring 82.4 points per game on 49% shooting from the field and 42% from beyond the arc. Their opponents are averaging 62 points per game on 36% shooting and 25% from beyond the arc.
- The leader on offense for the Eagles is Madyson Jean-Louis. She is averaging 15.3 points per game on 50% shooting and is shooting 44% from beyond the arc while adding 3.9 rebounds per game and 10 total steals.
- Head coach Lisa Wilson is in her 10th season of her career, all with the Eagles. She holds a career record of 145-117. She has twice led the program to the NCAA Tournament, including the 2023-24 season.
