LAST TIME OUT
The Patriots last competed way back on April 20
th where they battled it out at the Alumni Muster hosted by Texas A&M. The Patriots broke three school records on the day in the women's high jump, women's discus, and the women's 400 meters. All three of those results ended as NCAA provisional marks, pushing the Patriots ever closer to qualification into the NCAA Championships.
PROVISIONAL MARKS
With this being the final event of the Patriots season before the NCAA Championships, it will be the last shot for several athletes to improve upon their marks or put down a mark. As it currently stands, 10 different Patriots hold a provisional mark in 11 different events.
Leading that charge has been
Aerin Thompson, who holds marks in the 200 meters (15
th), 400 meters (16
th), long jump (27
th), high jump (23
rd), and heptathlon (8
th).
Juliane Frueh holds marks in the high jump (10
th) and heptathlon (32
nd), and
Ashton Turner holds a mark in the 110 meter hurdles (24
th), and 400 meter hurdles (17
th) to round out those with more than one mark.

Kamaria Carr (62
nd) each hold marks in the 400 meters,
William Davis (33
rd) is ranked in the 800 meters,
Brandon Arenas is 48
th in the 110 meter hurdles,
Abeni Kratzmeyer is 23

th in the discus.
Additionally, the Patriots women currently have the sixth best 4x400 meter relay time in Division II, consisting of
Kamaria Carr,
Jasmine Haywood,
Isabel Jakobsen, and
Aerin Thompson.
THE LSC CHAMPIONSHIPS
This year's Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships will take place in San Angelo, Texas on the campus of Angelo State. 11 men's teams and 12 women's teams will line up as they chase the top times throughout the three day meet. Official scoring will occur, with individual events and relay events each scoring the top eight finishers.
Thursday will see the beginning events of the heptathlon beginning at 12:30, with the first four field events beginning at 3 p.m. Finally, the track events will begin at 6:30 with several preliminary rounds as well as the 10,000 meters.
On Friday, the heptathlon event will finish up prior to the discus and high jump competitions. Running events are scheduled to begin at 6:30, with the remaining preliminary rounds and the 3,000 meter steeplechase to round out the evening.
Saturday will round out the remaining field events with the javelin, pole vault, long jump, and shot put. The running event finals are scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m., beginning with the 4x400 meter relay.
NEXT ON THE SLATE
The NCAA Outdoor Championships are set to be run May 23-25 in Emporia, Kansas and are hosted by Emporia State. The NCAA selections will be announced on May 14 with a total of 377 athletes per gender earning qualification.
The minimum field sizes for the events will be 20 for individual, 16 for combined events, and 14 for relays, while the maximums will be 24 for individual, 18 for relays, and 16 for combined events.
