LAST TIME OUT

The Patriots were last in action on December 19th and 20th as part of the Holiday Hoops Classic at South Point Arena. The Patriots took on MSU Billings and Embry-Riddle and finished 1-1 over the two day event.

The Patriots fell in a close contest to MSU Billings, as the Patriots closed the gap late but were unable to pull even in the closing seconds to drop just their second contest of the year. Against Embry-Riddle, the Patriots offense roared to life as Meagan Mendazona, Ella Bradley, and Lovisa Hevinder combined for 49 of the teams 76 points on the day as they earned a big ranked win.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Ella Bradley earned LSC Offensive Player of the Week honors and the last award of 2024 after a dominant performance at the Holiday Hoops Classic. Bradley posted a career high 21 points and a career high five three pointers against MSU Billings, and then dropped in 15 more points to go with four rebounds and eight assists against Embry-Riddle.

TOP 25 RANKING

The Patriots remain inside the top 25 in both the WBCA and D2CSC polls. In the WBCA poll released on December 31st, the Patriots come in at number 18. They are joined in the poll by LSC foes #2 Texas Woman's and #20 Lubbock Christian. The D2CSC did not publish a poll this week so the Patriots remain #14.
