Last weekend the Patriots played host to Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M and came away with a 2-0 record. Against the Greyhounds, three Patriots combined for 51 points while
Ella Bradley dished out the second most assists in a game in program history on their way to a 75-59 win on Thursday. On Saturday against the Lady Buffs, the Patriots put together a blistering second half that saw them outscore the Lady Buffs 41-26 on their way to a 76-57 win.

NATIONAL POLLS

The Patriots moved up in both national polls this week, now ranking #6 in the D2CSC poll and #7 in the WBCA poll. That is the second highest ranking in the D2CSC poll of the year, and it is their highest ranking of the year in the WBCA poll and highest ranking since the preseason WBCA poll prior to the 2023-24 season.

PATRIOTS NOTES AND TRENDS

- UT Tyler finished the 2023-24 season 27-9 overall and made their second consecutive NCAA Sweet 16. That win mark is tied for the most in the NCAA Division II era of the program. The Patriots are the only team in the South Central Region to win a game in each of the last two NCAA Tournaments.
- Last season the Patriots finished 13-2 on their home floor and are now 9-1 this season, raising their mark to 44-7 under head coach Rebecca Alvidrez inside the Herrington Patriot Center.
- In the last four seasons (including 2024-25), the Patriots are a combined 31-13 in non-conference matchups, including a 12-3 record at home in non-conference games.
- Head Coach Rebecca Alvidrez is now 99-47 all time in her four season career, and she is 90-28 in her time at UT Tyler.
- The early part of the year has shown the Patriots dominant defense again, as they rank inside the top 30 nationally in field goal percentage defense (2nd), scoring defense (4th), scoring margin (14th), and three point percentage defense (13th).
- On the offensive side, the Patriots have hit their stride, now ranking inside the top 50 nationally in three pointers per game (14th), assist/turnover ratio (18th), assists per game (32nd), and free throw percentage (16th).
- Meagan Mendazona has enjoyed a strong start to the year, ranking inside the top five in the LSC in field goal percentage (4th, 48.4%), free throws (4th, 70), and points per game (3rd, 15.7).

AGGIES NOTES AND TRENDS
- Cameron will head into this week at a record of 2-15 overall and 0-13 in LSC play. Their two wins are over East Central and Northwestern Oklahoma State. They have lost their last 13 games, all against LSC opponents.
- The Aggies are averaging 61.2Â points per game on 37% shooting and 31% from beyond the arc. Their opponents are averaging 70.3Â points per game on 42% shooting and 32% from beyond the arc.
- They are led on offense by Shamica Smith, who is averaging 14.8Â points per game on 52% shooting. Wilson leads the team in rebounds and blocks and is third on the team in steals.
- The program is lead by head coach Jeffrey Mahoney. Mahoney is in his third season as head coach and served as the assistant coach for the three years prior. He holds a career record of 26-48.

EAGLES NOTES AND TRENDS
- Oklahoma Christian heads into this week's matchup at 6-11 overall and 3-10 in LSC play. They have dropped their last five games with their last win coming against Texas A&M International on January 9th.
- As a team, the Eagles are scoring 62.7 points per game on 37% shooting and 26% from beyond the arc. Their opponents average 65.4 points per game on 41% shooting and 31% from beyond the arc.
- Individually, Taylor Jackson leads the way for the team, averaging 14.6 points per game. She is the team's leading rebounder at 8.3 per game and has 16 steals on the year.
- The Eagles are coached by Markeith Brown who is in his third season. He holds a career record of 20-49. Previously he served as the Assistant Coach at East Texas A&M (formerly Texas A&M-Commerce).
