#6/7 Patriots Hit the Road for Falcons, Rambelles

The final road trip of the season kicks off this weekend as the Patriots head to west Texas for battles with UT Permian Basin and Angelo State.

LAST TIME OUT

Last weekend the Patriots played host to Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas A&M International as they wrapped up their final home games of the 2024-25 regular season. Against a stingy Javelinas squad, the Patriots used a huge first quarter before keeping them at arms length throughout the second half on their way to a win. Against the Dustdevils, the Patriots were completely dominant, taking a 19 point win and scoring 20+ points in both the first and fourth quarters.

NATIONAL POLLS

This week the Patriots remained #6 in the WBCA Top 25, still their highest mark in program history. The top of the poll was shaken up however, as a Grand Valley State loss means that Texas Woman's now is the #1 team in the poll for the second time this season. Lubbock Christian moves up one spot to #12, and Colorado Mesa represents the RMAC in the Receiving Votes category.

In the D2CSC Top 25, the Patriots slipped one spot to #7 despite the 2-0 weekend. In that poll as well, Texas Woman's moved up to #1, while Lubbock Christian moved up to #12. Colorado Mesa represents the RMAC at #24.
