TYLER, TEXAS – UT Tyler tennis split action for the second straight day on Sunday as the men took down Auburn Montgomery 4-0 and the women took the #9 Warhawks to the brink as they fell 4-3.

The #9 Warhawks would begin their battle back, taking straight sets wins of their own in lines #1 and #3 to bring the match back to a 3-2 deficit.
Those winning ways from the Warhawks continued in the #6 line, as the Warhawks picked up another straight sets win to drag themselves back to an even 3-3 count in the match.
That brought the match down to the #5 line, but the Patriots could not convert as
Kanika Sivaraman came up just short in her effort and fell by scores of 6-4, 6-3 as the Warhawks completed the comeback to win 4-3.
