Patriots Conclude Action at NCAA Outdoor Championships

PUEBLO, COLORADO – UT Tyler track and field finished up their campaign at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships on Friday evening.

Ashton Turner and Brandon Arenas would each take on the 110 meter hurdles competition as they looked to qualify into Saturday's finals.

Turner would run a time of 14.52 in heat number one, while Arenas bested him in a time of 14.12 in heat number three. Those times would place them 21st and 17th, respectively, ultimately coming up just short of the 13.71 time needed to qualify into Saturday's finals.

The Patriots will have plenty to hang their hat on from the outdoor season as they qualified seven total athletes into six different events at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, a new high water mark for the program.
