TYLER, TEXAS – The University of Texas at Tyler tennis program has announced the addition of Kourtney Chumbley as their new assistant coach and Nahia Izco as their newest graduate assistant.
Chumbley makes her way to Tyler via Ouachita Baptist, where she served as the head women's tennis coach over the last five seasons. During her tenure, she coached the Tigers to 11 All-GAC selections, 22 academic All-GAC selections, four GAC sportsmanship awards, and five consecutive distinctions as an ITA All-Academic Team. Additionally, she was named the GAC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year for the 2024-2025 season.

Chris Bizot said. "She brings great experience as a head coach in Division II. We look forward to not only her impact in our program but the impact in the Tyler tennis community."
Nahia Izco will join the Patriots program as their graduate assistant after recently completing her collegiate career at Auburn Montgomery. Izco was a second team All-GSC selection her senior year and was part of a program that made three straight trips to the NCAA Division II South Regional tournament.
