Daniel Duron enters his first season on staff at The University of Texas at Tyler in 2023-24.
Duron spent the last two seasons as the Assistant Video Coordinator at the University of Texas during which time he helped film and analyze all games and practices for the Longhorns. Texas claimed the 2023 Big 12 Tournament Championship in Duron's second season with the program and advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division I National Tournament.
Prior to his time in Austin, Duron served as a graduate assistant within the Texas Tech men's basketball program from 2019-21. The Red Raiders made appearances in the NCAA Division I National Tournament in both of his season's on staff.
He assisted with all aspects of the program during his time in Lubbock, including work with scouting reports, recruiting and academic efforts for the team.
Duron began his career in collegiate athletics as a football video assist at Texas Tech. He helped manage practice and game film for the program and assisted with pro day and special event filming as well.
Duron holds a Master's of Science Degree with an emphasis in Sports Management from Texas Tech.
