Nick Mirich enters his first season as an assistant coach with the UT Tyler men's basketball program in 2023-24.
Mirich joins head coach Tim Moser's staff following three seasons on staff at the University of Wyoming. Mirich served as a student manager for two seasons at Wyoming and then as a graduate assistant during the 2022-23 season.
The Cheyenne, Wyo. native assisted with all aspects of the program during his time at Wyoming, including daily practice set-up, in-game analytics and travel coordination. Mirich was a part of the staff that led the Cowboys to a 25-9 overall record and a trip to the NCAA Division I National Tournament in 2021-22.
He played basketball for two seasons at Eastern Wyoming College in 2018-19 and 2019-20 before transitioning into his coaching career.
He was an All-State selection in football and led his team to a Regional Championship during his prep career at East High School in Cheyenne, Wyo.
Mirich holds a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Wyoming.
