Will Sherman was added to the Patriot Women's Basketball coaching staff as Assistant coach and Recruiting Coordinator in May of 2019.
Sherman joins UT Tyler after two seasons as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at McMurry University. While with the War Hawks, he helped guide the team to their best American Southwest Conference West Division finish in more than a decade during the 2017-18 season. In 2018-19, McMurry advanced to the ASC Tournament for the first time since. 2008.
A Reno, Nevada native, Sherman is a 2017 graduate of the University of Nevada-Reno, where he spent five seasons assisting the Wolf Pack Women's Basketball program in various capacities. His duties included assisting in the preparation of scouting reports and practice plans, individual and group workouts, and travel planning. Sherman has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies and a Master's of Science in Sports Psychology from Capella University.
