TYLER, TEXAS – The UT Tyler Women's basketball program has announced three more signees to an already impressive class.
First year head coach
Rebecca Alvidrez continues to add to the roster, and has added a trio of new players. Joining the Patriots roster will be
Enisa Kamerolli, Elene Iluridze, and Destini Whitehead. These three new Patriots will now join a class that is up to ten new signees for Alvidrez.

Enisa Kamerolli, Destini Whitehead and Elene Ildruze," Alvidrez said. "All three of these young ladies will provide our team with skill, toughness, intelligence and experience. We expecting all of them to make an immediate impact for our team."
5-8 guard
Enisa Kamerolli joins the Patriots all the way from Vushtrri, Kosovo. Her previous experience includes an appearance on the countries FIBA U16 Women's European Championship team in 2017. In the evennt Kamerolli averaged 15.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists while helping lead Kosovo to a 5th place finish in Division C.
"We are absolutely thrilled that Enisa chose our program over many others. She is a true point guard who possesses the ability to lead her teammates from day one," Alvidrez said. "It is hard to find someone with Enisa's court awareness and love for the game. Her learning mindset and constant work ethic will be contagious to our entire team."
Elene Iluridze is a 5-10 guard/forward from Tbillisi, Georgia. She makes the long trek to Tyler with her own experience in the FIBA U18 Women's European Championship in 2017 while playing for her home country. Iluridze helped lead the team to a 20th place finish in Division B.
"Elene is a tenacious worker," Coach Alvidrez said. "We are very excited to have someone who can stretch the floor and play multiple positions. Her length will make her a great defender and her international experience will bring confidence to the team. Her work ethic will raise the bar for our program."
Destini Whitehead will be joining Coach Alvidrez's team as a transfer from Panola College. The 5-10 guard hails from Athens, Texas and will be returning home to East Texas to finish out her collegiate career. At Panola, Whitehead averaged 8.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists while helping lead the team to a combined 29-21 record in her two seasons. Whitehead played at Tyler High where she averaged over 17 points per game and became the second Tyler High player to win district MVP as a sophomore.
"We feel so fortunate to have such great young woman like Destini on our team. She can score on every level and her scoring mindset is much needed," Coach Alvidrez said. "Destini is a gifted player who is versatile enough to play all positions. Her strength and toughness will allow her to defend all 5 positions. Our fan base will love watching her play."
