WHAT COACH WEBB IS SAYING

On the five straight ties her team has put together entering Saturday's match... "We're competitors. There really wasn't a moment in either of our last two games that I thought we were going to lose the game. Our intensity is really good, you can see it in the way we compete for each other right now. I believe this is a winning team and we just keep fighting to the very end. But we just keep making dumb mistakes, and other teams are capitalizing on it. We have to really dial into the details, we've been focused on that the last week, just fixing the little things that are getting us stuck."

On the importance on the upcoming matches as it relates to the conference standings... "If you play in this conference long enough you recognize that every game is a big game. There's not a moment that you can take a break. So it isn't going to be a message that's different than what we've been saying all year, you have to win and you have to play to win. We just have to thrive in that pressure. It's going to come for us, I believe that it's going to come for us, we've competed too hard for things not to go our way at some point."

On Saturday's opponent in West Texas A&M... "You look at every team we play the rest of the way, we're all desperate for wins. West Texas A&M has a rich tradition, they've been a great team for a long time, and they're going to come in knowing that they have to win on the road. We've got to match that intesity. Talent wise it's going to be an even match, it's just going to be a battle of who doesn't make mistakes and who capitalizes on the other team's mistakes."
