The Patriots fall to 10-3-3 and 5-3-3 in Lone Star Conference play with the result. UT Tyler out-shot Lubbock Christian by a 7-to-2 margin in the final 45 minutes of action after trailing 1-0 at the halftime break. UT Tyler's best chances came in the second half of play, beginning with a quick run from Natalie Jones just two minutes out of the halftime break. Jones just missed wide on her shot attempt, but generated a newfound momentum for UT Tyler for the second 45 minutes. Freshman Ella Anderson nearly found the opposite post on a header in the 64th minute and classmate Danica Anaya put a nice strike on a rebounded corner kick that landed right in the arms of the Lady Chap keeper for the other quality chance. Lubbock Christian out-shot the Patriots by an 11-to-10 final margin.
