LAST TIME OUT

The UT Tyler women's soccer team improved to 8-1-2 on the season after going 2-0-0 last week. The Patriot defense stood tall once again, holding Oklahoma Christian to just two shots on goal in a 1-0 victory and keeping West Texas A&M off the board in a 2-0 win. UT Tyler carried their defensive momentum into the week as they made program history by holding four consecutive conference opponents scoreless. In the match against Oklahoma Christian, Melissa Oliveira notched her fourth goal of the season off a pass from Gabrielle Wiebe, whose first assist of the year proved to be the game-winner. In Saturday's game against West Texas A&M, Natalie Jones tied the team lead in goals after scoring both in the 2-0 victory.
