Seven Patriot Soccer Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District

TYLER, TEXAS – UT Tyler women's and men's soccer athletes Brooke Mullins, Sid Cleofe, Niko Vasileiou, Luan Rangel, Hugo Marques, William Kenne, and Oscar Sosa have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team as announced Tuesday.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's and Men's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's and men's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Mullins adds another honor to her résumé, earning her second straight CSC All-Academic award after also being named to the LSC All-Academic Team for the second year in a row. She started all 19 games for the Patriots, logging 903 minutes while contributing three goals and one assist on the season.

The six honorees are the most in men's program history, eclipsing the previous high-water mark of four back in 2022. This is also the first time being named to the team for each of the six honorees.

Sid Cleofe was also named to the LSC All-Academic Team this season. He appeared in all 19 games for the Patriots this season and played over 1,100 minutes.

Luan Rangel was also named to the All-LSC Second Team. He scored seven goals, the most in a single season in the Division II era, while adding two assists in 17 games played this year.

Niko Vasileiou played in all 19 games this year as he added on a goal and an assist while totaling over 900 minutes.
