TYLER, TEXAS – UT Tyler athletics will welcome several theme nights and halftime performers such as the ZOOperstars, the Spyros Bros, and Steve Max, the master of Simon Sez.
 
Action begins with the first home event of the new year, as the Patriots will have Rep the Rose Night on January 8^th. This event welcomes all people from Tyler to come represent their city with free admission for Tyler residents and watch UT Tyler play Western New Mexico at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. There will be free shirts and a dance team performance at halftime along with a raffle for a free night out in Tyler.
 
On January 10^th, the Patriots will have Southside Bank Customer Appreciation Night, and they will also have the official ring ceremony for UT Tyler softball in honor of their 2025 NCAA Division II Softball National Championship. The Patriots will host Sul Ross State at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
 
January 22^nd will see the first major halftime act at halftime of the men's game and will also be the first home game with students back. The Patriots will host Lubbock Christian for Hawaiian Night at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. and they will also be hosting the halftime act known as the ZOOperstars. There will be 500 hawaiian shirts given away, along with a student tailgate and food from Hawaiian Bros.
 
The ZOOperstars feature inflatable mascots with names such as Shaquille O'Seal, LeBronco James, Dick Flytale, Yao Flamingo, and many more. The act combines synchronized dance routines, acrobaties, tricks and comedy into an amazing performance that connects with fans of all ages.
 
On January 24^th, the Patriots host Midwestern State at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and will also host First Responder / Military Appreciation Night. There will be a color guard ceremony prior to the game, and there will be enlistments at halftime along with honorary coaches representing both teams throughout the day.
 
On February 12^th, the Patriots host their annual Blue Out Night as they welcome in Cameron for a 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. matchup inside the HPC. Additionally, the Patriots also welcome in their second halftime act, Steve Max. There will be more shirts given away, and the winners of the Simon Sez games will receive scholarships.
 
Steve Max is better known as the Master of Simon Sez. He has appeared in the NBA, NCAA, To Tell the Truth (ABC), Brain Games (National Geographic), and has appeared at the conference basketball tournaments for the ACC, Big 10, A-10, and SEC each year since 2008.
 
February 17^th will feature the third major halftime act of the season and will double as Student Success / Glow Night. The Patriots will host Texas Woman's and DBU at 5:30 and 7:30 and also will welcome in the Spyros Bros.
 
The Spyros Bros are masters of the art of Diabolo (Chinese Yoyo). They made it to the semifinals of America's Got Talent Season 15 in 2020, performed at the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, and still perform routinely at several NBA and NCAA halftime shows across the country such as the Lakers, Nuggets, Mavericks, Celtics, University of Texas, University of Tennessee, and UCLA.
