#3 Patriots to Host #16 Eagles, Aggies to Wrap Up 2025 Regular Season

The Patriots look to put a stamp on the regular season with a pair of key doubleheaders at home on Friday and Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT

On Tuesday the Patriots faced Texas Woman's at Irwin Field to kick off a six game homestand. They did not surrender a run, outscoring the Pioneers 16-0 combined over the two games. The Patriots put up a pair of 8-0 run-rule wins, now posting four run-rule wins over the last six games. They allowed just one hit in each game, and in game two, all eight Patriots runs came via the long ball, as Taryn Barney, JT Smith, and Miia Campos each hit a homer.

NATIONAL AND REGIONAL POLLS

This week the Patriots climbed to #3 in the NFCA/Go Rout Top 25, up one spot from their position last week. They have now been ranked inside the top four in each NFCA poll this year. West Texas A&M remains number one, followed by Francis Marion, UT Tyler, Tampa, and Central Oklahoma in the top five.

In the NCAA Regional Rankings, the Patriots were ranked #1 on Wednesday afternoon in the second of three polls released prior to the NCAA Selection Show. That show takes place on Monday, May 5th at NCAA.com.
