LAST TIME OUT

UT Tyler women's soccer started their week on the road taking on Oklahoma Christian. The Patriots ended the matchup in a 0-0 draw against the Eagles. UT Tyler put the offensive pressure on the Eagles early as Ella Anderson hit the top woodwork with her shot in the 15th minute. Then, a little past the halfway point of the first half, the Patriots added three more shots and two corner kicks in a seven-minute span as Danica Anaya tried to put her team up front with two attempts of her own. It was the first time all season that the Patriots were held scoreless in back to back games. That would change just a few days later as UT Tyler took on West Texas A&M at home. UT Tyler put the offensive pressure on early as Anaya sent the Patriots first shot of the day on goal in the eighth minute before it was blocked by a Lady Buff defender. West Texas A&M broke through in the 40th minute after a deflection off a Patriot defender which allowed the Lady Buffs to take the lead. They'd add another score at the start of the second half to take a two to nothing lead. The Patriots would finally find the back of the net late in the game as a penalty in the box gave UT Tyler a penalty kick that Anderson buried to cut the deficit to 2-1. That would end up being the final score, moving the Patriots to 5-4-2 overall and 5-3-1 in conference play. West Tex. A&M broke through in the 40th minute after a deflection off a Patriot defender allowed the Lady Buffs to take the lead. They would add another goal
