DENTON, TEXAS - The University of Texas at Tyler Patriot Dancers had a fantastic showing at the American Dance Collegiate Competition on Saturday, March 25th. Two seniors, Megan  Bell and Avery Shiffer, competed in a 2-minute solo.

Bell finished as 1^st Runner Up in the College Division DII/DIII Soloists, while Shiffer placed as 2^nd Runner Up in the same division.

UT Tyler Cheer will next compete in Nationals next week in Daytona, Florida. Please join us this Friday evening as the Cheer team shows their Nationals performance at the Herrington Patriot Center Gym. The cost to attend is $5 or 3 canned goods. All staff and students from UT Tyler are free. Performances start at 6:00 pm and Stephen F. Austin will also be in attendance. 

UT Tyler Cheer will also showcase their national's routine at 10:15 am on Saturday, April 1st at the UT Tyler Admissions event, The Patriot Premiere, and Sunday again at the Herrington Patriot Center with Tyler Junior College Cheer joining them. Sunday's event will have performances starting at 7 p.m. with admission also set at $5 or three canned goods. All staff and students from UT Tyler are free.
