TYLER, TEXAS - The University of Texas at Tyler spirit squad program is proud to announce the addition of three members to the coaching staff for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
 
Kayley Wilkey, Jaimelynn Parker and Victoria Kinney will all assist head coach Maggie Williams Koehn in the oversight of the cheer, dance and STUNT teams at UT Tyler.
 
Wilkey will serve as the assistant spirit squad coach in 2022-23 and has been a full-time competitive cheerleading coach since 2018. The Fort Worth native began her cheerleading career at Spirit of Texas, and continued throughout her high school career before attending Stephen F. Austin University.
 
"I am eager to pour into this program and see everything to be accomplished in the seasons to come," Wilkey said. "I am excited for the transition into coaching collegiate cheerleading, dance and STUNT."
 
Parker will add an assistant role here at UT Tyler to her Director of Tumbling and All-Star Operations roles at Flyer Athletics in Tyler. Parker will work with both the cheer and STUNT teams at UT Tyler after competing for the programs for two seasons.
 
"Being in this program has taught me so much about myself and many life lessons that I will carry with me forever," Parker said. "I hope to use what I learned while in the program to further my career as a coach for years to come."
 
Kinney will serve as an assistant coach for the UT Tyler dancers in addition to her roles as the head dance coach for Flyer Athletics, and as an Administrative Assistant at Lura Swaim Accounting Services. Kinney was a member of the UT Tyler Patriot Dancers for three years, as well as the cheer and STUNT teams for two seasons.
 
"This program has brought me some of my closest friends, given me life-long memories and helped make me into the person I am today," Kinney said. "The UT Tyler Spirit Squad has a big place in my heart and I can't wait to help further the program."
