RICHARDSON, TEXAS – UT Tyler freshman libero Anna Arceneaux has been named the LSC Freshman of the Week for her huge performance to close out the regular season.
 
Arceneaux collected 46 total digs over two matches, equivalent to 5.75 per set as the Patriots picked up a huge 3-2 win over Texas Woman's on Friday and swept DBU 3-0 on Saturday to close out the regular season slate.
 
On Friday against the Pioneers, she recorded 33 digs and chipped in two aces as she posted her second highest dig count in a match. On Saturday, she tacked on another 13 digs and two more aces as they limited DBU to just a .142 attack percentage.
 
Arceneaux is the first player of the week of the season for the Patriots and first since Dakota Rogers-Hurtado on November 11^th last season.
 
Arceneaux and the Patriots now march into the LSC Tournament as the #5 seed and will take on #4 seed St. Mary's at 4 p.m. on Thursday in San Angelo, Texas.
