PATRIOTS NOTES AND TRENDS
- UT Tyler finished the 2024–25 season 8–20 overall and 5–17 in Lone Star Conference play, but the Patriots were competitive throughout the year with 12 games decided by 10 points or fewer.

In the Lone Star Conference Preseason Poll, the Patriots received 260 points to land at No. 14 in the annual preseason rankings. Dallas Baptist University (DBU) was chosen as the preseason favorite after earning 850 total points and 42 first-place votes.
THE DUSTDEVILS
The Patriots start their LSC slate this week with a matchup against Texas A&M International on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Laredo. The Dustdevils are 1-5 on the year and are 0-1 at home so far this year.
