INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – UT Tyler women's basketball was one of the 10 teams listed as under consideration in the first NCAA South Central Region rankings as announced on Wednesday.
Wednesday's rankings are the first of three weekly regional rankings prior to the NCAA selection show that will take place on Sunday, March 8
th on NCAA.com.
This week's rankings are in alphabetical order, with the first true ranked version coming next week.
The Patriots are one of six LSC teams under consideration, joined by Eastern New Mexico, Lubbock Christian, St. Mary's, Texas Woman's, and West Texas A&M.
UT Tyler is 17-9 on the year and 13-4 in LSC play with just three games remaining in their regular season schedule. They will take on UT Dallas on Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. in their final road game of the regular season.
