TYLER, TEXAS – Coming off an 8-8-3 season and a trip to the Lone Star Conference Championship Semifinals, the UT Tyler men's soccer program has announced its 2026 schedule as head coach Kenny Jones enters his 25th season leading the Patriots.

Jones, the only head coach in program history, returns for his 25th season at the helm and will be joined by assistant coach Robert Serra.

The Patriots will open the season on the road against DBU on Aug. 27 before making their home debut on Sept. 5 against Rogers State.

UT Tyler then embarks on a four-match road trip beginning with contests at Colorado School of Mines on Sept. 10 and Colorado Christian on Sept. 12 before traveling to Salem, Oregon, for neutral-site matches against Simon Fraser on Sept. 17 and Western Oregon on Sept. 19.

Lone Star Conference play begins on Sept. 23 when the Patriots host DBU for Pups at the Pitch before traveling to West Texas A&M on Sept. 26.

UT Tyler returns home on Sept. 30 to face Midwestern State for International Students Night before continuing conference play with road matches at Lubbock Christian and St. Mary's.

The Patriots return to Citizens 1st Bank-Perkins Soccer Complex on Oct. 10 to host Sul Ross State for Alumni Day and Military Appreciation before traveling to Texas A&M International on Oct. 14.

UT Tyler closes the home portion of the regular season with back-to-back contests against St. Edward's on Oct. 17 and Oklahoma Christian on Oct. 24. The matchup with St. Edward's will serve as Senior Day and Youth Day, while the regular-season home finale against Oklahoma Christian will feature the annual Kick or Treat/Fall Fest promotion.

The Patriots conclude the regular season on the road at UT Dallas on Oct. 28 before turning their attention to postseason play.

UT Tyler's home promotional schedule includes:

The Lone Star Conference Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 31-Nov. 6, with NCAA Championship play beginning Nov. 12.

UT Tyler will look to build on last season's 8-8-3 overall record, including a 4-4-2 mark in Lone Star Conference play, after earning the program's first Lone Star Conference Tournament victory before advancing to the conference tournament semifinals. The Patriots also posted a 4-2-2 record at Citizens 1st Bank-Perkins Soccer Complex during the 2025 season.
