TYLER, TEXAS – The University of Texas at Tyler men's golf team concluded their fall semester of events ranked no. 10 in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Rankings.
 
The rankings provided through the NCAA's partnership with Spikemark powered by Clippd assessed the Patriots an average of 23.34 points. UT Tyler holds a 29-17-1 record through the fall semester and sits as one of six Lone Star Conference representatives within the top 10 of the South Central Region.
 
10 teams from the South Central Region, including the two automatic qualifying bids awarded to the champions of the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship Tournament, will be selected to compete in the 2024 NCAA South Central/West Super Regional Championship set for May 9-11 at the New Mexico State University Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M.
 
UT Tyler finished within the top five in three out of their four events during the fall semester, including a victory in the The Hrncair on Oct. 16-17 at the Territory Golf Club. The Patriots averaged 288.6 through 12 competitive rounds over the course of those events.
 
Senior Seth Campbell is the highest ranked Patriot through the fall semester of events. Campbell sits no. 6 in the region and no. 19 in all of Division II men's golf with a 70.11 scoring average in nine rounds this fall.
 
Colorado State-Pueblo sits atop the South Central Regional Rankings with 51.42 average points, while Oklahoma Christian (no. 2) and UT Permian Basin (no. 5) serve as the highest Lone Star Conference ranked teams.
