UT Tyler was one of several teams not to finish their first round on Tuesday, and resumed that round this morning at 8:30 a.m. local time. They would follow that up with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. this afternoon, and are now in a tie for eighth place.

The Patriots shot 307 in round one and followed that up with a 309 in round two on Wednesday. They sit one shot clear of the cut line for match play, and currently trail seventh place Missouri-St. Louis by six shots.

DBU currently leads the tournament at 11 over par, one shot clear of Wingate in second place.

Round one belonged to Martha Laremark, who fired an even par 72 that included a one under par back nine along with three birdies and 12 pars. She followed that up with a 77 in round two that included a one over par effort on the back nine. She currently sits in a tie for 13th on the individual leaderboard.

Round one scoring for the Patriots was rounded out by Arnie Taguines, Emmerson Doyle, and Lucy Kate Smith. Taguines and Doyle shot matching 78's, while Smith turned in a 79. Both Taguines and Doyle made a pair of birdies, and Smith added one more herself.

Round two would see Taguines and Smith lead the way with matching rounds of 76, while Karina Duran added an 80 to go with Laremark's 77. Taguines made 12 pars and one birdie in her round, and Smith shot one under par on her front nine before coming home in 41.

The Patriots are currently fourth best in the field in par three scoring average at 3.23 and are eighth in the field in total pars with 106.

They will begin their final round of play on Thursday at 7:15 a.m. local time. The final eight teams will advance into the medal match play portion to determine a team champion. Those rounds will take place on Friday and Saturday.
