PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA – UT Tyler women's golf has picked up two awards from the Women's Golf Coaches Association as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Senior
Martha Laremark has been named a WGCA Division II First Team All-American for the first time in her career after a brilliant final season with the Patriots. She finished the year ranked #18 nationally and #5 regionally in the Scoreboard rankings. She posted an adjusted scoring average of 73.2 while adding four top three finishes and 10 top 20 finishes. This is her first All-American selection of her career and is the second in the Division II era of the program, joining
Arnie Taguines from the 2024-25 season.
Freshman
Lucy Kate Smith has been named to the WGCA Division II All-Freshman Team presented by the AJGA. She finished #70 nationally and #20 regionally in the Scoreboard rankings. She posted a 74.7 adjusted scoring average while adding individual titles at both The Southern Invite and the Emerald Coast Collegiate. This is the first ever All-Freshman Team honor for the program.
