PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA – UT Tyler women's golf wrapped up their best season of the Division II era on Thursday with an 11
th place finish in the team standings at PGA National Resort.
UT Tyler made the NCAA Division II Championship for the first time as a team in 2026 and also collected their first two team wins of the Division II era in a stout season under head coach
Grant Spencer.
Wingate claimed the top seed heading into match play after a 289 in the final round, the only team in the field to break the 300 threshold. Amely Bochaton of those same Bulldogs won the individual title at 13 under par, the only player to finish under par for the event.
The Patriots shot 315 as a team to close out their final 18 holes on Thursday, missing the cutoff for the top eight teams by just six shots.
They were led again by senior
Martha Laremark, who closed the books on her elite career with a final round 78. That round featured two birdies and 10 pars to put herself into a tie for 22
nd on the individual leaderboard.
Emmerson Doyle tied Laremark with a final round 78 that included 13 pars to help her climb four spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 60
th.
The final two counting scores of the day came from
Karina Duran and
Arnie Taguines, who shot 79 and 80, respectively. Duran made a birdie and 11 pars while Taguines added 13 pars.
As a team, the Patriots finished the tournament sixth in par three scoring and seventh in par four scoring. They were also fourth in the tournament in total pars.
